Photoshoot Day! Yippee!

We’re off to Applehead Studio in downtown Halifax today, to do a model shoot for our 2018 fashion line and lookbook.  I’ve worked with photographer Liam Hennessy before, and he understands the importance of preparation for a studio shoot.   Sometimes, it seems simple.  After all, you are just taking pictures of your products, right?

Here’s where I find the big difference.  My products need to be seen in the very best light (and lighting), showcasing the fit, and the fashion flair.  Our Forever Fit jeans are worn with other fashion accessories, and these need to be chosen carefully, so as not to conflict (or dominate) with the ‘product hero’ – my jeans!  Most importantly, my products need to be worn by the most fashionable (and glowing) expectant mother, as this is the best way for us to showcase our jeans.

It all sounds kind of glamourous – a photo shoot!  But, these will tend to be long days, under hot lights, which are not ideal conditions for a pregnant woman, as you can imagine.  But, Liam is a consummate professional, and my organization and preparation is usually matched by his.
